Peptavo AI Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
This Peptavo AI Privacy Policy ("AI Privacy Policy") explains how The Stack Source LLC, doing business as Peptavo and as Bioavailable ("we," "us," or "our"), handles the information involved when you use the Peptavo AI assistant, whether inside the Peptavo dashboard at peptavo.com or inside the Peptavo AI tab of our community on Whop (together, the "AI Service").
It supplements the Bioavailable Privacy Policy and the Peptavo Privacy Policy, which continue to govern your account, payments, and everything outside the AI Service. Where this AI Privacy Policy is more specific, it controls for the AI Service. Your use of the AI Service is also governed by the Peptavo AI Terms of Service.
1. Information We Collect
When you use the AI Service, we collect and store:
- Your questions and conversation history. Every question you submit, every answer produced, the sources cited, and the conversation each belongs to.
- Who you are. An internal owner identifier tied to your Peptavo account or, if you use the AI Service through Whop without a linked Peptavo account, your Whop user identifier. For community members we may also read the email address and the Peptavo billing customer identifier recorded on your Whop membership so we can match you to a Peptavo account. We do not collect or store payment details; billing is handled by Peptavo under its own privacy policy.
- Your acceptance of the AI Terms. The date and time, the version accepted, the surface you accepted from, your network address, and your browser identifier.
- Usage. How many questions you ask and when, so we can apply question allowances.
- Technical and diagnostic data. Request logs, error traces, and, for a question that fails or needs correction, a record of what the model and the retrieval step did so we can diagnose it.
2. How We Use It
We use that information to:
- answer your questions and show you your own conversation history;
- enforce question allowances and the AI Terms;
- detect and prevent abuse, prompt injection, and automated access;
- diagnose failures and improve retrieval, prompts, preset answers, and the course material the AI Service draws on;
- keep records we need for legal, contractual, and compliance purposes; and
- respond to your requests and communicate with you about the AI Service.
3. Do Not Enter Patient Information
The AI Service is not designed to receive protected health information or any personal information about a person other than yourself, and we are not a business associate of yours under HIPAA or any similar law. Do not enter a patient's name, date of birth, record number, diagnosis, image, or any other detail that could identify a patient. Questions are transmitted to third-party model providers as described below, and we cannot guarantee that information you enter can be located and removed from every system that processed it. You are solely responsible for complying with HIPAA, state privacy law, and your institution's policies in anything you type.
4. Third-Party Processing
To produce an answer, your question, the course excerpts retrieved for it, and recent conversation context are sent to third-party model and infrastructure providers, which may include Anthropic and OpenRouter and the model providers available through them. Our database and hosting providers, including Supabase and Vercel, store and serve the AI Service. When you use the AI Service through Whop, Whop verifies your identity and tells us whether you are a member. Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy and may retain data for the period those terms allow, including for abuse monitoring.
5. No Training on Your Questions
We do not use your questions or the answers you receive to train any machine learning model, and we use our model providers under terms that do not permit them to train on that data. We may review individual conversations by hand to diagnose a failure, to investigate suspected abuse, or to improve the course material and preset answers the AI Service draws on.
6. Sharing and Disclosure
We share information with the service providers named above, each bound to process it only on our instructions. We may also disclose information to comply with law, a subpoena, or a lawful request; to enforce the AI Terms; to protect the rights, property, or safety of any person; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case the acquiring party assumes the obligations in this AI Privacy Policy. We do not sell your questions or conversation history, and we do not share them with third parties for their own marketing.
7. Retention
Your conversations are kept until you delete them, or until your Peptavo account or Whop-only owner record is deleted, at which point they are deleted with it. Acceptance records are kept for as long as needed to evidence the agreement and defend any claim. Diagnostic records of failed or corrected answers are kept for as long as they are useful for improving the AI Service and are then deleted. Third-party providers retain data according to their own terms.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You can start a new conversation at any time and delete any conversation from inside the AI Service. You can delete your Peptavo account from your account settings, which removes your conversation history. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To make a request, email privacy@bioavailable.io. We will verify your identity before acting and respond within the time the applicable law requires.
9. Security
Conversation and acceptance records are stored in tables that only our server-side service role can read, protected by row-level security, and transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information you send will never be accessed, altered, or disclosed without authorization.
10. Children
The AI Service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the AI Service, contact us and we will delete the related information.
11. International Processing
We are based in the United States, and the AI Service and its providers process information there. If you use the AI Service from elsewhere, you consent to that transfer and processing, which may be subject to laws that differ from those where you live.
12. Changes
We may revise this AI Privacy Policy at any time. The date at the top of this page identifies the current version. If we make a material change to how the AI Service handles your information, the AI Service will ask you to accept the new version before you continue.
