Antidote or reversal
No specific antidote. Overdose causes excess beta stimulation: tachycardia up to 200 beats/min, arrhythmias, seizures, hypokalemia, and hyperglycemia. Stop the drug and treat symptoms. A cardioselective beta blocker may be considered cautiously because it can trigger bronchospasm.
